Description

Hi,

This is one of my first vector drawings. I studied a lot of tutorials etc. It took my probably 8-12 hours to get it to this stage.

My very first vector drawning ever was a disaster (so I won't post that one). I did it with the mesh tool and end up adding an endless amount of nodes until the picture looked pretty much like the reference photo.

Anyways, critique is very welcome, I just started and I want to learn as much as possible :)

Sorry to use a pstar, but she's got a great face ;-)

The colors are great, very atractive look, this would be great as part of a design, I miss the empty space on the right.... Nice work!

She's pretty, this is very well done for 1 of ur first work with vector, i never made a vector work but what i see now is very nice, i very like the hot color you have choice and the way you have done the hair maibe the lips need a part of shadow but that don't affect the work, very nice and Welcome to GFX!

Not a huge fan of this type of vector work, but for a first try its very impresive. Few hits, the lips need more depth tad flat, few more gradients and perhaps a highlight or two... The eye shadow, perhaps feather the shape a lil bit make it a bit softer so the line isnt so sharp. and the transparency you have in the middle of the face the brown one for the cheekbone. You can perhaps make the center of the circle a tad transparent so it doesnt look so obvious that its a circle. I dont really know what application your using, so I cant go too indepth on this. Well keep up with the tutorials this is looking good.

Inabottle: Thank you for your comment. I use Illustrator 8, I don't think it has a transparency option. I don't know what a tad is...
